The Alula brooch is made up of two joined silver forms, with the larger form having a slight curve. The silver sheet has a feather texture. Each from has a 2mm wire border on the front or back. The larger form has a blue hot fired enamel surface fleked with grey enamel. The piece has a satin finish with burnished edges. The brooch is supported with a double steel pin on the rear.

Cleaning Instructions
Hot soapy water with an old toothbrush. A solution such as silver dip can be used; it is recommended that an old toothbrush is used to apply it ( avoiding enamel area which may be affected by the solution), then rinse thouroughly and dry.
