I was inspired to make this cuff by looking at animations, films like those by Studio Ghibli I wanted to capture the halcyon summer days that are often shown. This cuff is made using hydrangea flowers geranium, box hedge leaves and fern leaves which I found in Victoria Park near my house.. It is made using my own method of dying and embossing plastic which I call fossilized Plastic due to the fine detail which it is possible to capture on the embossed surface so they are similar to fossils.. I harness nature to create individual pieces which are a memory of each individual flower or leaf.
