This tie tack is made from sterling silver and 24ct gold. The technique used is an ancient Korean one, where the gold is fused to the silver. Letters and symbols have been punched into the surface by hand, so each one will be slightly different. The surface of the tie tack is given a worn effect to simulate the look of an antique found object. The tie tack measures 13mm in diameter.
