Cleaning Instructions
Oxidising is a patina caused by a chemical reaction on the surface of the silver. All oxidised pieces are given a layer of micro crystalline preservation wax. With wearing and handling the oxidised areas will develop a paler patina over time, showing your appreciation of the piece. Please do not clean pieces with any silver cleaning products as these will remove the oxidised surface.
Most connections in my work are made by soldering or riveting but some are made with a 2-part epoxy glue. If you ever experience any difficulties, please contact me for advice.If your piece is riveted, please take care of the surface finishes as it will not be able to be dismantled to be repaired/ refinished.
Use a soft, clean lint free cloth to very gently polish the Lucite and clean about the pearls.
