A coil of silver wire is soldered and fused together to create the stud part of these earrings, the process giving the wire a texture. A large silver frond swings from a loop and is enamelled with a blue vitreous enamel, The blue is over-laid with a small amount of yellow enamel in places to achieve a pattern and contrast within the enamel. The earrings have a combination of polished and satin finish. The stud part is polished with the frond having a satin finish with bright burnished edges.

Cleaning Instructions
Using warm soapy water with an old toothbrush should be sufficient to clean this earrings. Solutions such as silver dip can be used. It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, contact with the enamel may affect its surface. Ensure theyare rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
