The "Sashiko" pattern is a field of small 'fin' motifs, which are subtly graded, reducing in density and size towards the centre of the scarf, creating a dipped or faded effect at the tails.
Knitted in a 1 ply superfine reverse jacquard. This construction, in combination with the sparse embroidery-like pattern, creates a quilt like fabric which is delicate to the eye and touch.
