Taking inspiration from the 1960s for the design of this flamboyant contemporary cuff. This design is a celebration as the madder leaf shape explodes from the center like Catherine wheel fireworks or the feel of the rosettes from a parade. The design is dynamic and has a feel of fast movement. The colours also enhance this mood the turmeric and violet clash and jump. The cuff has a real feeling of joy and celebration.
Each contemporary cuff bangle is individually handmade with Sue's unique technique of "fossilised plastic" uses real plants. The flowers and leaves are used like stencils to create the designs and emboss the surface relief from the foliage into the cuffs, making a real flower jewellery collection.
To get the right size cuff, first measure your wrist with a dress makers tape or use a piece if string, mark it and check length against a ruler. Then consult the measurements below to see which size is best.
SMALL (58mm diameter): for wrist size 155mm - 165mm, cuff gap - 25mm
MEDIUM (65mm diameter): for wrist size 170mm -180mm, cuff gap - 28mm
LARGE (72mm diameter): for wrist size 185mm - 195mm, cuff gap - 35mm
