Nick’s beautiful sketch of ‘Frog Prince’ features in one of his earliest catalogues in 1997, but the piece was first made around 1994. Nick’s Frog Prince brooch is one of his earliest pieces inspired by his love of literature and amongst his first to feature his trademark combination of hand engraved words and miniature figurative detail. It is a joy to behold.
