When I was making this handmade acrylic contemporary brooch I was thinking about new beginnings and the start of a new part of my life. I became interested in making egg shapes. Full of potential. I create the surface design using delicate tiny hydrangea flowers. collected from a hydrangea I grow in my garden. Then apply silver leaf followed by a coat of resin. The pieces are individually made using a the palest of pinks. I have carved the edge to frame the flowers and to soften the edge of the There is a strong pin, on the back handmade using steel so it will be very durable and strong.
