Four Decades Celebration Brooch by Daphne Krinos

Part of the "Fragment" series of brooches. I make these using the same shape which varies in shape and the fragments do not lie flat, so they create interesting reflections under different light. I decided to make this piece and give it rhythm and a celebratory look, by playing with the positive and negative shapes. It is subtle but noticeable and looks best on thicker material.
