This handmade designer perspex cuff (or bangle) design was inspired by a toy drum Sue had when she was a child. The colours were taken from a Vintage film book from the 1940's, using Passion flower leaves to make the stripes. Their outline it is very fluid and organic. Colours: Burgundy, Soft Pink, Soft Blue.
Each contemporary cuff bangle is individually handmade with Sue's unique technique of "fossilised plastic" uses real plants. The flowers and leaves are used like stencils to create the designs and emboss the surface relief from the foliage into the cuffs, making a real flower jewellery collection.
To get the right size cuff, first measure your wrist with a dress makers tape or use a piece if string, mark it and check length against a ruler. Then consult the measurements below to see which size is best.
SMALL (58mm diameter): for wrist size 155mm - 165mm, cuff gap - 25mm
MEDIUM (65mm diameter): for wrist size 170mm -180mm, cuff gap - 28mm
LARGE (72mm diameter): for wrist size 185mm - 195mm, cuff gap - 35mm
