Lastly, gold lustre has been added to give a lovely shimmering effect, especially when the earrings catch the light. Each pattern is completely unique due to the hand drawn qualities and the nature of the enamel when fired in the kiln, therefore making these earrings one of a kind. Remove your piece before showering, avoid getting it wet and any exposure to chemicals. It is recommended to put your piece on over soft floor such as carpet. Using a soft toothbrush, silver can be lightly brushed with warm soapy water and cleaned with a soft cloth. These earrings are oxidised. Oxidisation is a chemical process which changes the colour of silver. It may fade or rub off over time but it can be re oxidised. If you would like your piece re oxidised, please contact Emily and she will be happy to help.
