Basalt Stud Earrings with Long Loops by caroline finlay

Yellow enamelled stud size 2cm x 2cm/0.8 x 0.8” approx.

Total drop length 8cm/2.8”.

Inspired by geometric rock formations and natural textures found on the Isle of Mull and Staffa. Unique design.

Oxidised, dark grey silver has been textured and enhances the enamel colour. The yellow enamel is matt finished and echoes the light and colours of The Hebrides.

Long freeform loops, lots of movement when worn.

Stud post fittings with large ear backs.

These earrings are subtly mismatched.

Handmade techniques and individual kiln firings mean no two pieces are identical.
