Basalt enamel drop earrings by caroline finlay

Silver stud top size 1.6 x 1.6 cm approx.

Grey enamelled drop size 5cm x 0.7cm approx.

Total drop length 6.6cm.

Inspired by geometric rock formations and natural textures and plants found on the Isle of Mull and Staffa. Unique design.

The organic hexagonal shaped stud tops are oxidised dark grey and have been textured and contrast beautifully with the long enamel drop. The soft grey enamel is glossy and echoes the light and colours of The Hebrides.

Movement when worn.

Stud post fittings with ear back fittings.

These earrings are subtly mismatched.

Handmade techniques and individual kiln firings mean no two pieces are identical.
