Flotsam series earrings with loops, burnt orange by caroline finlay

Burnt orange vitreous enamel with 3 dark grey oxidised silver free-form loops. The main enamelled detail has been textured with punches that show through the rich, transparent, orange enamel. The nature of techniques used and enamelling mean each piece is unique and no two pieces are identical. Enamel is gloss finished. Ancient technique of Basse-taille enamelling with contemporary design. Lots of movement when worn.
