Treat your jewellery with care.
Your necklace should not require any cleaning with normal everyday wear. However, should it get dirty then wash gently with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
Silver parts, including the catch and links, are oxidised making them dark grey in colour. Do not clean using silver dip or a silver cloth as this will remove the oxidised surface. The oxide will very gradually become more silver coloured with wear to look more like gun metal. This will not discolour your skin or clothing.
Please note: Avoid leaving your jewellery in direct sunlight for prolonged periods as this can cause colours to lose their intensity, particularly reds and other colours that contain red pigment ie: oranges, pinks and purples. This is the nature of red dye, not a manufacturing fault and John Moore will not be held responsible.
