This striped recycled plastic chain necklace was made using blades of grass to create the design. I have also introduced primary colours to lift the stripe and make it zing. At the back of my mind, I was thinking of Humbug Sweets from my childhood. I picked in Victoria Park near my house. It is made using my own method of dying and embossing plastic which I call 'fossilized plastic' due to the fine detail, which it is possible to capture on the embossed surface so they are similar to fossils.
