Island Neckpiece, Teal, Orange, Grey by Caroline Finlay

Necklaces / Pendants
by Caroline Finlay

Length 50cm/20" (can be worn shorter).

Central teal pendant measures 6 x 4cm approximately.

Stunning and unusual statement necklace features 3 asymetric, organic shaped pendants and a handmade chain.

The pendants have been textured in the studio using traditional jewellery mark making techniques that echo patterns and surface texture found on the coastline.

Caroline is particularly inspired by island coastlines in the Scottish Hebrides Islands with their distinct light, colour and weathered textures.

The enamel is glossy and the three colours - deep teal, burnt orange and grey complement each other beautifully.

A handmade long link, slightly irregular silver chain enhances this unique, statement piece.

The silver has been oxidised to a dark grey finish which enhances the enamel colour and texture.
