A little vaseline can be applied to all pieces to help enhance oxidisation and enamel colour. Vitreous enamel is glass and although pieces are fairly hardwearing, care should be taken not to apply force or scratch the surface. Gold plated pieces should only be very gently rubbed with a jewellery polishing cloth.When not worn keep piece wrapped in acid free tissue paper (provided) to help prevent tarnishing.
