Neckpiece Tidal series - Aqua by caroline finlay

Necklaces / Pendants
by caroline finlay

Individually handmade using the ancient enamelling technique of basse-taille - the embossed silver texture can be seen through transparent aqua enamel.

Orange enamelled side detail. Hook and ring catch.                  Enamel has a glossy finish and contrasts well with the oxidised, matt, dark grey silver.

The main pendant measures 3.5 x 3.5cm.                                          Techniques used mean each piece is unique with no two pieces being exactly identical.

Features

  • Primary Material : vitreous enamel
  • Other Materials : silver
  • One of a Kind : No
  • Metal : sterling silver
  • Hallmarked : Yes
  • Finish : oxidised

Enamel can be washed in warm soapy water if it becomes dirty. A little vaseline can be applied to all pieces to help enhance oxidisation and enamel colour. Store in a box in acid free tissue as provided.
