A little vaseline can be applied to all pieces to help enhance oxidisation and enamel colour. Vitreous enamel is glass and although pieces are fairly hard wearing, care should be taken not to apply force or scratch the surface. Oxidisation will come off with silverdip, abrasion or household chemicals e.g bleach. Store pieces in a box with acid free tissue paper - as provided.
