Necklaces / Pendants
by Emily Kidson

A versatile, elegant necklace in Emily’s signature materials. Walnut, oxidised silver and Formica are combined to create a lightweight necklace in a minimalist style.
The walnut and Formica shapes are cut by hand and waxed for a beautifully smooth finish. The silver links and chain are oxidised to a dark matt finish. It can be worn on either side. The image of the orange curve necklace worn is to give a sense of scale.

Features

  • Primary Material : Formica
  • Other Materials : oxidised silver and walnut
  • Length (inches) : 18
  • One of a Kind : No
  • Hallmarked : No

Cleaning Instructions

Laminate is a hardwearing material, however, care needs to be taken to avoid chipping and scratching. It can be wiped down with a damp cloth or a rubber can be used to remove some surface marks. The colour doesn't fade. Oxidised silver has been treated with a chemical solution to give a dark grey/black finish. This does wear away over time, particularly in exposed areas which adds to the character of the piece
