A beautiful and striking rose-cut garnet is set beautifully in a handmade 18ct gold setting on this ring. The rose-cut is a flat bottomed stone that features triangular facets in a symmetrical arrangement, which rise to form a point. A vintage-style stone which compliments Marianne's contemporary take on historical ornamental detailing delightfully. The ring shank features a delicate surface pattern reminiscent of decorative ironwork.
The thickness of the band is approximately 3mm with a round profile. The garnet is 6mm in diameter.
Each piece is thoughtfully made in small batches or as one-off pieces by me in my studio in Glasgow. I appreciate good craftsmanship and strive to achieve the highest standards every day in my work. I hand-select the pearls and garnets that I use in my designs to ensure their quality, colour, lustre and sparkle is consistent.
