Scarves by Hilary Grant The "Sashiko" pattern is a field of small 'fin' motifs, which are subtly graded, reducing in density and size towards the centre of the scarf, creating a dipped or faded effect at the tails.Knitted in a 1 ply superfine reverse jacquard. This construction, in combination with the sparse embroidery-like pattern, creates a quilt like fabric which is delicate to the eye and touch.Hilary Grant is showing an exclusive range of scarves as part of the second edition of our virtual Dazzle exhibition – Dazzle Invites.Dazzle invites 30 makers, showing unique, one-off or limited edition designs, created specially for the exhibition.
