Dazzle Invites | Karolina Baines

Karolina Baines is a jewellery designer and maker based in Edinburgh. Her designs combine vibrant colours with a sense of movement to create sculptural jewellery with an elegant yet playful character. Karolina’s collections reflect a diverse world of inspirations, from Japanese textiles and folding techniques, to the universal traditions of weaving and basketry that have been handed down through generation of communities. Each piece seeks to develop an emotional connection between jewellery and wearer, through the application of strong tactile patterns and textures, as well as the use of rich colours expressed using enamels.

Dazzle invites 30 contemporary jewellers, showing unique, one-off or limited edition designs, created specially for the exhibition. All pieces available to purchase from 16 November 2021 – 9 January 2022.
