Brooches by Becky Crow These brooches were designed during the lockdown at the beginning of 2021. They were made in reflection and response to the pandemic and all that is has held. They encompass ideas about loss, grief, and separation as well as hope and freedom. Whilst they were made as a specific response to the 2020-21 global pandemic they hopefully also reflect something more universal about our human experience.Gathering rain/collecting tears is a piece reflecting on loss. It endeavours to capture the sense of gathering and holding these losses as something precious. Can also be worn as a pendant.Becky Crow is showing an exclusive range of jewellery as part of the second edition of our virtual Dazzle exhibition – Dazzle Invites.Dazzle invites 30 contemporary jewellers, showing unique, one-off or limited edition designs, created specially for the exhibition.
