The bud drops are suspended from the stud on increasing length wires, each bud is enamelled with a bright blue vitreous enamel. The bud drops have a satin finish with burnished edges. Solutions such as silver dip can be used. It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, ensuring it is rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
