The petri stud is an off round handmade ear stud. The silver surface is engraved and over laid with blue vitreous enamel. A detail of 24ct gold leaf is fired within the layers of enamel. The petri ear stud is a simple yet bold design full of detail. The silver back has a satin finish with the edges of the earring burnished to a bright shine. Each earring is made and enamelled by hand, due to the making process the engraved and goldfoil details may vary slightly from those pictured.

Cleaning Instructions
Using warm soapy water with an old toothbrush should be sufficient to clean these ear-studs. Solutions such as silver dip can be used carefully. It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, contact with the enamel may affect its surface. Ensure they are rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
