Thrive coil & small frond earring by Miranda Sharpe

A coil of silver wire is soldered and fused to create the stud part of these earrings, the process gives the wire a texture. A small frond swings from a loop and is enamelled with a green vitreous enamel. The green enamel is over-laid with some small spots of blue enamel to give a subtle contrast of colour and pattern within the enamel. The process means each time the enamel will be different and the strength of the blue over the green can vary being quite visable to very subtle. The coil stud has a polished finish with the frond having a satin finish with bright burnished edges.
