A bright, bold and unusual necklace handmade in silver with vitreous enamels. A transparent blue enamel reveals the texture on the surface of the silver and is interspersed with deep pink enamel lines. Gold leaf is applied to the surface of the smaller pendant and three serpentine beads drop from the two pendants. The larger pendant measures approximately 4cm x 3cm with the overall pendant area being approximately 6cm x 6cm. The necklace is suspended on a silver barleycorn chain and is fitted with a T-bar clasp. The silver has a satin finished with bright burnished edges.

Using warm soapy water with an old toothbrush should be sufficient and is recommended to claen this necklace. A solution such as silver dip can be used but it is recommended that the solution be applied with an old toothbrush or cotton bud sparingly avoiding enamelled areas, rinsing and drying thoroughly afterwards. Asilver cloth may be used on silver areas but please be aware it will bring a shine to satin or matt silver finishes.
