Solutions such as silver dip can be used with extreme care. It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, ensuring it is rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards, do not dip the necklace into the solution and avoid contact with the enamel and stone surfaces as it may affect them. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
