Shadow, two pendants combined to create a striking one-of-a-kind necklace.

Made in silver the two forms nestle together on the chain to harmoniously unite. Each form is constructed by hand, an edge with depth gives the pendants form but kept open at the back to minimise weight. The surface of the pendants is textured, which is revealed through the layers of transparent vitreous enamel laid over their surfaces. The textured surface creates a tonal effect through the enamel reminiscent of a shadow as the light plays upon it.

The enamel has 24ct gold foil and 18ct gold wire fused into the surfaces to add to and contrast the underlying surfaces and the luxurious finish.

The enamel colours in rich intense, dark cobalt blue and grey blue blended with soft purple, combined with flashes of gold invites you to dive in. Colours that suggest pools of water, depths of the ocean, warmth and light. The enamel surface is layered and stoned back for a super smooth finish before being fired back to a high gloss finish, tactile to touch and extremely wearable.

The pendants are suspended on a rounded silver box chain, with enough weight to hang beautifully. The silver is finished to a soft satin shine.

Using warm soapy water with an old toothbrush should be sufficient to clean this necklace. Solutions such as silver dip can be used. It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, contact with the enamel may affect its surface. Ensure it is rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
