Thrive slinky silver, green and yellow enamel necklace by Miranda Sharpe

Necklaces / Pendants
by Miranda Sharpe

Thrive slinky necklace in silver with vitreous enamel in a blue green with vibrant yellow. The necklace fulfils the style of a chain necklace with the added twist of a collection of elongated oval fronds positioned at the front of the necklace as a focal point. Each frond is layered with rich and bright transparent vitreous enamel colours in a fading mix of blue green and yellow. Vitreous enamel is the process of fusing finely ground glass powders to metal through heat. The necklace has a polished finish with a subtle texture to the rear of the fronds with the enamel finished to a glossy lustre.

The chain that forms the back part of the necklace is made by hand with a series of small irregular oval shapes which add to the individuality of the design. The necklace is delicate, easy to wear and flattering whilst packing a punch in the colour department to make a bit of a statement. The necklace is light and soft against the skin but would look equally as good over a high or round neck sweater.

The chain is fitted with an S-hook fastening which can attach to the chain at a variety of lengths as desired, the maximum length is 18”.

It is recommended that the solution be applied sparingly with an old toothbrush or cotton bud to silver areas only, contact with the enamel may affect its surface. Ensure it is rinsed and dried thoroughly afterwards. A standard silver cloth may also be used but please be aware that it will increase the shine on satin areas of silver.
