For Zero Waste Week, I made this pendant to go with the cuffs and earrings. I hand cut shaped it as I can collect the off cuts that the Local plastic company are throwing away and make even the samllest pieces into something new and save them from land fill. I think it also makes a softer more fluid shape , like a pebble. #zerowasteweek
. I use my own method of dying and embossing plastic, like fossils, every detail is captured on the embossed surface. The colour (in this case scarlet) is applied around the leaves like stencils. I harness nature to create original pieces, which are a memory of each individual skeleton leaf. This botanical necklace evokes both a contemporary and a vintage feel. A classic piece that can be worn for years. Each one is individual and unique, making this botanical beauty both contemporary and classically vintage. A real party item and ideal Christmas gift!
