Throughout her career Anne Finlay has experimented with many types of non-precious materials, such as plastics, aluminium, wood, laminates, textiles and paper. Her work, which includes many ranges of jewellery, one-off pieces and clocks, has constantly evolved. She designs by experimenting with materials; exploring construction, composition, colour and pattern. Using simple techniques, the components of her jewellery are combined in innovative ways, creating a fusion of functional and decorative elements.
