Dazzle Invites | Emma Calvert

Award winning jeweller Emma Calvert explores the creative possibilities of vibrant textiles as jewellery, creating pieces that embody her love for colour and unexpected material combinations. 

Trained at Central St. Martins in woven textile design, Emma developed and explored three-dimensional form through weaving, folding and knotting. This evolved into her signature textile jewellery, working primarily with ribbons and sterling silver to create wearable, sculptural statements.

Her new collection combines vintage braids with contemporary colours. Sourced from across Europe, each piece is infused with it’s own unique history and reframed in a distinctive modern style. This collection consists of one-off treasures and limited edition designs.

Having recently moved out of London, Emma now works from her studio on the Dorset coast where her jewellery is carefully made and constructed.

Emma Calvert is showing an exclusive range of jewellery as part of the virtual Dazzle exhibition – Dazzle Invites.

Dazzle invites 30 contemporary jewellers, showing unique, one-off or limited edition designs, created specially for the exhibition. All pieces are available to purchase from 17 November – 10 January.
